My one year old little boy keeps trying to bang his head/face on things, he usually does it when he knows he's being watched. He is an only child so hasnt picked it up from another sibling. I'm hoping its just a passing phase?? Does anyone know why or if its something i should be concerned about.

My DS did this as a part of a tantrum! I think its a phase TBH.

My DS didn't, he's now 4. But plenty of his friends did. After angst had passed consensus of my baby circle, was that it was mostly driven by attention seeking or frustration. Most of my chums ignored unless it was positively dangerous (e.g. child in new environment not realising how hard concrete can be etc.) Hope this helps.
