my tip is put their least favourite drink in a bottle like water maybe and put their favourite drink, milk or juice, in a beaker, then leave it upto them.

No advice really. When ds1 was 14 months, I just took the bottle away and replaced it with a beaker.
There was no easing him into it, one day bottle, next day beker, like it or lump it
It took a few days, but he's fine with it now

When DD was nearly 2 she was still having milk at night in a bottle. I felt she was waking up for the milk IYKWIM so I decided it was time to stop bottles.

We went out and looked for some "big girl" beakers together and found some with pictures on that she liked. From then on she didn't have any more milk in bottles and the night waking improved.
