My DS keeps putting his fingers so far down his throat or up onto the roof of his mouth he gags, and eventually throws up. We keep pulling his hand/rattle away when we catch him doing it or distract him, and obviously the word 'no' just illicits a big grin from a 6 month old. He loves his food and milk and is a happy wee soul. He has always been a 'happy puker', (slight reflux) so isnt bothered by throwing up at all. Is this just a developmental 'I'm working out what my hands/mouth/body does etc' or is it odd....

ds did this and I've heard of quite a few doing it.

It's just experimenting with their hands.

He will grouw out of it.

lol, it's not odd.it's gross, but it's not odd. just a phase, and all that...

I've heard it can be quite common, so I would try not to give him any sort of reaction and he'll soon outgrow it.

I love your name by the way
