So tired just wanted a moan

My ds 3 1/2 has never been a good sleeper he has mild cerebral palsy but this week he has not been sleeping. Every hour he wakes up to go to the toilet he cries in his sleep does not get a proper nights sleep and this results to both of us being being miserable and tired during the day. He doesn't need to go to the toilet as much during the day so why do you think he needs to go as much in the night? love some advice

So sorry to hear you and your ds are having a bad week through lack of sleep. Hopefully somebody will be able to come up with some advice. I haven't even tried to night time potty train by ds yet, still no dry nappies, so haven't had to deal with disturbed nights. I know people say not to let them drink anything after 6pm. If it continues to be a problem perhaps speak to the HV/doctor and see what they think? Hope it all works out for you both.
