has anyone else done a parent network course

I was wondering if anyone else has done a parent network course and would like your views on how it has affected your parenting.I done the course and so did DH last year and can see the advantages but I find myself constantly thinking before I speak and listening carefully to how others speak to my chilren has anyone else experienced this? I would just love to swap idea's with anyone that is doing it and have some support.

jobey, I haven't done the course, but it sounds like you were told some interesting stuff and made an impact on you. Any chance you could post a brief outline here?

I did ParentTalk last year; it was somewhat useful. Don't know about Parent network...

I will post some details very soon when I find my paperwork I think there are loads of them about.It is a course that teaches you how to speak to your children as to not lower their self estem e.t.c and make them more confident and caring adults.Really interesting stuff and worth doing.Steve Bidulph who wrote raising Boys,Manhood and the secrets of happy children has a lot to do with them.Also teaches you to teach your children how to deal with Jealousy,anger,bullying,siblings I could go on.I'll post with details soon.
