Worried about clenched fists in 5 yr old DS

I would really appreciate some thoughts on this. Have been worried for ages about my DS strange blinking....but suddenly feel a whole lot better having read lots of posts on here about other children who blink! Thank you...BUT... He also (since starting school) often sits with his fists very tightly clenched - but no other sign of distress/stress etc. Sign of stress? Another tic? Also still not dry at night - could this stuff all be related? Any thoughts?

I clench my fists when i'm anxious, i tend to do it with out realsing - poss could be connected with staring school as he has a lot of new thing to deal with? sorry i'm not much help

Does he have any other tics or Asperger-y kind of things?

Not really - just the blinking which comes and goes - sometimes a strange snorty clearing throat sound which I think is mainly just when he has a cold. He does have a strange phobia about nail cutting!! Will not let us near his finger or toe nails and cannot bear to watch anyone cut their own. God, he is sounded really odd now! Can the clenched fists be an aspergers thing then? Didn't know that. Thanks for replying.

I went to a conference last week and blinking was mentioned. I meant to check my notes today so that I could give you an informed reply but work was chaotic. Will try to check on this tomorrow. He's probably like my dh - just a little "different". Dh is an artist

Oh, and clenched fists were mentioned too. Am going to check my notes on both.
