How much formula should i be giving my 11 month baby a day. Also when he turns a year and he changes to cows milk, how much should he be having then?

Don't quote me on this as my LO is now getting on for three, but I'm fairly sure I offered her 4x 240ml bottles at that age, as by then she was also taking solids. We changed to watered down cows milk at 12 months and I roughly offered her the same amount as before, although this quickly reduced to 2 bottles, one in the morning and one at bedtime.

If you're using SMA, we followed the guideline amounts printed on the tin.

a minimum of 20oz is recommended up to 1 year and from 1 year a minimum of 350mls (approx 12oz) is recommended. These totals dont all have to be in drink form as milk in cereal, in foods and other dairy all count too. There is no need to water down cows milk - full fat cows milk is fine from 1 year.

DS was having 2 milk feeds from 10 1/2 months and they were from a lidded beaker (maybe 6oz or so each).

DS2 is 13 months and has been having 2 bottles a day since about 11 months.
