Our 2YO daughter has sucked the first 3 fingers of her left hand upside down ever since we removed her dummy at 4 months. It looks very cute but is clearly now pushing her top teeth forwards and giving her a bit of a "goofy" look. This is all very sweet in a little, slightly shy girl but is she storing up problems for the future and so needs to stop? Several other discussions on the site seem to suggest this. If so, though, how do we get her to take them out? If we remove them physically they go straight back in and the Stop 'n' Grow seems to be for older kids (incidentally I remember using this to stop me from nail biting when I was a kid but graduated to gnawing the skin on my fingers and still haven't managed to kick the habit!!!)
