Thats it really! ds is almost 7mths & is showing all the classic signs of teething! chewing, dribbling, red cheeks etc. He's also started sleeping a lot more. he doesn't normally sleep much in the day but has started having 1 1/2 hrs in the morning and this morning woke at 6.30am, back to bed at 8.15-9.45 and i have just had to put him back to bed. could this be teething too??

Unfortunatley when both mine were teething, it had quite the opposite effect on their sleep lol!

But everything else sounds about right.

Look for little holes in his gums - particularly the front four - that's where it tends to start.

Poor DS....poor you!

It could be. My DS seems to find the crying and pain associated with teething so exhausting that it seems to knock him out completely for naps.
