Is it possible that DS1 could have broken his nose without me realising?

I feel really bad; DS1 (3) is super clumsy and is always banging himself (usually on his head). He has had a small, barely noticeable, bruise across the bridge of his nose for a few weeks (I don't always notice it, it is so barely there).

I am now wondering if maybe he could have broken it as DH reckons there is a small lump to the side of his nose that moves (I am too freaked out to look)

DS1 doesn't report any pain from it and it hasn't bothered him at all over the past couple of weeks.

Could he have broken it without us realising? I always thought you got big black eyes when you broke your nose.....

If you are worried you should see GP or go to a&e - I know it sounds awfull but my DS1 broke his arm (a hairline fracture - very small fracture) and it took me two days to realise it. He fell off the bed at his granma, he was 17 months old, and I was 8 months pregnant, and moving house so very busy!! There was no swelling except that he wouldn't use his hand for anything. After a couple of days we were worried that something wasn't right so DH took him to A&E. If you are worried take him just to be sure.

It doesn't hurt him and he has had a faint line across his nose for weeks . I don't think it is an emergency or anything, just wondered if it was a possibility (I will probably get him checked over by the docs on Monday just incase though)

He is so clumsy, I told him I was going to wrap him up in cotton wool earlier

Today he managed to cover his face in lots of tiny scratches, I have no idea how he did it, and he couldn't come up with an explanation either...it was either something in the garden, or DS2.....
