in the cot - how old is too old?

DD will have to move out of her cot eventually. I accept this begrudgingly.

we can move her from a cot up to a cot bed at some point, as DS is using a cotbed at the moment.

Just not sure when he'll be to old for a cotbed sized bed (junior bed?) and when it might be free for DD. 4th birthday? 5th? He's turning 3 in a few days

Up to 7/8 in the bed part I think. DD was in the actual cot until past 3.

DD2 stayed in her cot (she preferred it) until she was 3.3. We only moved her out of it when she decided she didn't need night nappies so needed to be able to get up to the loo.
