16 mth laughs / gets giddy when i say 'no'

i say no in a firm and deep voice and keep a straight face. i remove him from plug socket/dvd player. he thinks it is a huge game and hilarious.
any tips on how i can show him it isn't a game?

Nope - just keep on doing it and if they keep going back to the dvd player ... remove them from the room so they can't get to it. He'll get the message eventually.

thanks wishingchair, i hope so! it feels at the moment like i am encouraging him, as he does keep going back, laughing more each time and anticipating that i say 'no'. it is like the best game ever for him!
