my dd (7) included, I know she can be awful with her friends at times

She has had bad pains in her tum on and off, but not ill

She came home from school yesterday with pains. Took her to the docs, they are checking for a water infection

But apparently the girls in her class were horrible about her having tummy pains! and saying she didnt really and were being horrible to her

really does my head in, why on earth do they have to be so horrible to their own friends?

(again I am inc my own DD in this as she is just as bad at other times)

boys can be just as bad IME - I have heard groups of 6/7 yr old boys telling another boy he was "rubbish a sport, rubbish at everything," on and on completely pecking at his head and countless other stories and experiences of my own where boys have been nasty little sods to each other so I dont think this is limited to girls

thats interesting to hear that about boys, as most say its just the girls!

One friend even went and told the teacher that DD was smiling as she was going home from, school early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wonder what age it is before they defend their friends and have loyalty towards them rather than snitching at the slightest thing

Boy can be just the same. But all children can grow out of it. Ds's friend was great at putting him down in infants, but was a totally different person by the time they got to juniors: he just needed to grow up a little.
