DS's 2nd tooth has just fallen out and the new one is aready coming through. It's miles back from the rest - is there any chance it might straighten itself out?

i took my dd to dentist for same thing and he said it would realign once the gaps were there.
she has a really small jaw though and baby teeth were overcrowded so i expected them to say they'd take some out once all the new teeth were there as my dh had done but dentist said they don't do anything now till teenagers! if you get told different please let me know! not looking forward to self conscious stage!
in our area it was on the local news that the criteria for braces etc on the nhs had been moved so unless teeth compromised the structure of childs mouth i.e can't close mouth over teeth no funding will be provided!

his teeth were perfect before - lovely & straight with no gaps, so I was fairly sure he might have problems once bigger teeth started coming through, but I thought maybe not till it was the big top teeth! He has the dentist in April, so will see what they say, although our NHS dentist is crap so probably won't even notice!
