dinosaur playmobil - how little are the bits?

packaging says 4+ but it doesn't look like there are as many tiny pieces as the pirate ship/hospital etc. Ds is nearly 3 and spends hours looking longingly at the triceratops set in the catalogue and am wondering if it's worth getting it for his birthday???

You're right there isn't as many.

We have that volcano, the vehicle with the cage and the quad thing. Very popular in my house my dc are (5,5 and 4).

My boys were 4 and dd 3 when we got it. They play with it with the ELC wooden Dinoworld. There are some little bits you could take out but to be honest they adore the lizard in the box and the dino skeleton. The vehicle with the cage is fiddly but they love it,found a PM baby strapped down in it the other day

my ds had the pirate ship with tiny bits just before his 3rd birthday and was fine. I took a few of the bits away as I knew he would lose them but I wasn't worried about him swallowing them.

Pretty K,we took away a few bones and things from the volcano thing but tis mainly fine (Ds is 5 but SN so willswallow and mouth stuff still)

that's good thanks. He doesn't put stuff in his mouth, was thinking more about getting frustrated if the bits are too little to play with. Will suggest it to his grandparents I think
