hi my 3 year old had chickenpox a few weeks ago and spent 24/7 with me..she is fine now but her personality has changed so much.if i tell her no she completely ignores me,when i say no again she bursts out crying.

she shouts and answers you back,i cant even go to the toilet without her crying for me,shes due back to nursery at the end of this week and im already dreading it...she cries and tells me shes not going back...must add it took over 2 months for her to settle in and it broke my heart,i really cant go through this again...

must add when she had chickenpox it was only me that cared for her as her dad was away and my sister was on holiday.my sister told her she would take her for a walk tomorrow and she burst out crying and said no,want my mommy...will she go back to her old personality....any advice if anyones been through this

my 3 yr old was like this after I had been in hospital...she didn't even want her dad and hated people coming to the house...she used to hide!
just try and ignore it as much as poss and don't force her to go out with your sister etc...go with them to let her remember how fun your sister is but don't make her go alone for a while....it WILL get better!

I would get her used to other people in drip feeds.

If your Sis takes her for a walk then go with them for 10 mins but remember you have to nip to the shop for milk and disappear for 10mins.

If you tell her you will be back then make sure you go back or she wont trust you. Do it gradually with DH and DSis and she will be fine again in a couple of days.
