Late walk so late talk?

DS late on all milestones. Has just started to walk unaided at 19.5 months.

But now a bit concerned about talking (especially when I see threads saying 'my son can only recite three lines at poetry at 8 months etc etc.')

Anyway, anyone else had a late walker who's also late talker?

You should be looking at communication overall not just verbal talking - Can he point, use gestures, 'talk' with his eyes ? You should expect some single words soon though to be on track for speech. They do 'all get there' in the end in one sense - but the destination is not always the same one.
