Yes ime. My sister is the youngest of three. She still lives at home and is incapable of looking after herself. Her attitude towards my mum disgusts me.

I love my sis dearly but have in all seriousness advised my mum to kick her out several times.

My Aunt is also the youngest of three and she is similar. Although she now lives alone and can look after herself, she has tantrums that would out any self respecting toddler to shame.

OMaLittle · 12/02/2009 17:14

My little brother is quite extraordinary.

Massive achiever
Handsome
Lovely
Learned
Confident

Doted-upon (can you tell?)

Absolutely GODAWFUL with money (lucky to be doted-upon, unfortunate and costly to be the doter)

wheesht · 12/02/2009 17:14

Very confident
Intelligent
Articulate
Independent
Creative
Motivated

wheesht · 12/02/2009 17:16

That list was about dd3, but I am a third child and dd3 is very like me.

Hmm, veeeeeerrrry interesting....

wilbur · 12/02/2009 17:18

Feral

wheesht · 12/02/2009 17:19

Seashells, do you think that your sis is like that because she was the third or because she was the youngest?

I think a lot of youngest children are like that, whether 2nd, 3rd or 4th... I suspect dd4 may be like that!

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 12/02/2009 17:20

Maybe. Especially as Aunt was also the youngest.

georgiemum · 12/02/2009 17:22

From my own observations...

they jump up and down and shout 'I CAN DO IT, ME ME ME' at most things (especially when someone is asked to do something) and are increadibly bossy, competant and like to be in charge.

Thanks sis!

wilbur · 12/02/2009 17:26

Georgiemum - oh yes, that's a good one. Ds2 is convinced he can read, swim, ski, cook, tie shoelaces and sew on buttons. He's 3.

wheesht · 12/02/2009 17:27

That sounds about right georgiemum.

shrinetothomastank · 12/02/2009 17:34

Can shout very loudly.

CarGirl · 12/02/2009 17:37

not difficult enought to stop me having a 4th

georgiemum · 12/02/2009 17:39

Wait until you get to the 5th. You have got is perfect by then

Hassled · 12/02/2009 17:40

No, I think the OP's characteristics are all those of the youngest child. My DC4 (6) ticks each of those. Plus feisty and more stubborn than you would have thought possible.
