DD is one on Wed and started walking propper last Monday - she has been able to take a 2/3 steps for well over a month. Once she was able to take a few more than 3 steps at a time it only took about a day to go from a few very waddly steps to real toddling and now there is no stopping her!

My DS1 walked at about 16 months - almost overnight. Just started walking one day after pulling himself up for months and months and months.

My DS2 didn't walk until he was nearly 18 months. Still trips over thin air every so often and he's now 2.

So both pretty late by your DD progress.

My DD is 11 months old and isnt even crawling yet.

My DS1 took his first step (from my knee to DH's knee) pretty much on his first birthday - he really didn't do much else until he was 14 months when he just started taking several steps and walking properly - so we had about 2 months of no progress iyswim.

My DS was 13mo when we got him to walk properly.

DH and i sat on the floor with our legs making a diamond shape, put DS in the middle, put a french fancy on our head and gave him a bite when he walked to either of us. Worked brilliantly!
