My DS is just under 6 months and made a very exciting discovery today - his willy! Seemed very surprised to find a new body part!!

Just wondered if this was the normal time developmentally to discover it - or whether he 'should' have found it ages ago!!

totally totally normal.
he won't let go of it now! when ds pulls and stretches on his, it makes me wince!

The best is yet to come i'm afraid. DS1 (16months) has discovered that if he pulls his hard enough and rubs it, his willy goes hard and stands up. he find this hilarious and cant wait to show me. am hoping this phase will pass before he tries to get a girlfriend

oh no my ds must be a late developer he's only 11 months and has only recently discovered it! his belly is too big for him to see it!!

DS has only found it with his left hand interestingly - although he tends to reach for toys with his right. I assume his right hand will make an exciting discovery soon too!

fledtoscotland I'm giggling a lot at that
