Strange stammer in two year old...should I be worried?

DS is 2.5 and has really only started talking in the last couple of months. Over the last fortnight or so he seems to have developed a sort of "after stammer". e.g. He'll say "Look! k! k! k! Big dog! g! g!"

Do you think it's just because he's trying to be emphatic with his limited vocab? Or is he developing a stammer? Or do stammers only happen at the beginning of words?

my DS1 did this Most importantly is to stop and listen- don't try to finish the sentence. For DS1 it was a fairly short phase where he couldn't speak as fast as his brain wanted to go. It was a very brief phase, helped by cuddles and patience.

I think it is quite usual for them to stammer when they are this age as their brains are moving faster than their mouths can form the words.

Oh they are sweet when they're beginning to talk, aren't they?
