My boy is nearly 3 and has been toilet trained for a while. When should we start teaching him about standing up to do his wees? He sits every time at the minute unless we are in a field!!

as soon as he's tall enough to get wee into the bowl. makes it much easier out of the house.

Remember to teach him about aiming. We helped DS hold his wlly. When he was with Grandad, Grandad helped with finding a tree and the trousers, but was a bit when DS piddled straight down his trousers.

DS is 6 and has only just started peeing standing up, he has always wanted to sit down before now.
On the otherhand, some of his frinds have been doing it since they were toilet trained.

I'd just take your lead from him, and let him do it when he asks about it.
