Proud mummy moment!

Sorry, this is very self-centered, but I've had a lovely morning with dd2 and she has really made me laugh.

She is 19 months and her speech is really coming on. Today, she came tottering through carrying her cup and announced, 'I'm spilling my juice EVERYWHERE. Look, Mummy, EVERYWHERE!' and so she was!

I was really proud, not of the juice, but of the great sentence! dd1 was not one for putting words together into sentences, so this is new to me .

that is lovely, now clean it up

Sweet!!

I was horrified secretly proud of DD this morning when she impatiently moved ahead of a 5 year old on the enormous bumpy slide at soft play in order to thrown herself down, alone, headfirst screeching with laughter as the bigger kid would not go without his mum who was flatly refusing to have him on her lap.

Obviously I had a stern word about pushing in on line only to get back up to the top and see the same child still not going down to have DD do the same thing again!

What can you do? She is 20 months and likes slides!

LOL There is nothing wrong with having proud moments!
I had a similar one where my mindee 4.5yo said 'where shall I put these (shoes)?' to which my dd 3yo said 'In the box the same as yesterday!!'

Do you write em down? Had a lovely time with my 5 yr old dd last week reading all her toddler funnies back to her
