My son is registered disabled at higher rate hes 8 but his learning is very delayed he is still on p8 on his percentile for learning.

His behaviour is through the roof he is statemented and in a speacil school this is the 4th time we have been refered back to camhs.
My son was tested for Adhd 3 years ago and im sure he has this,he constantly swears hes aggressive he hits his teacher and sibblings,he has no compassion, stays awake all night has so much energy.
He pees and poos in odd places has phobias ect ect the list is endless.
Camhs are not listening to me im so frustrated its a waste of time going has anyone else had problems with not being listened to?

Can you complain to someone HIGHER up within CAMHS?

I dont know but i dont want to make matters worse thats why iv not done anything yet my other son who is mildly autistic goes once a fortnight on his own he doesnt want to go,he even said they are asking him the same questions every time hes 14.
We have a open and closed file at camhs its thick wev been there so many times over the last 12 years!

I've had my ups and downs with CAMHS, sorry to hear you are having problems too

have you thought about maybe using an advocacy service, someone from another agency (social worker? cpn?) or, less formally, a friend or relative to help you get your points across? you could ask for a review and get everything you want to say down in writing first and submit it to the people involved in your son's care

I wasn't always up to communicating effectively with them so have used most of these methods at one time or another - good luck
