My DD has some strange behaviour that I REALLY hope you can all help me with. Whenever she sits in her highchair or car seat she kind of kicks her legs and its almost like she's rubbing herself against the belt or that big safety thing between her legs-sorry cannot remember what it is called! Its causing deep red marks where her nappy digs into her legs, but I also don't know if it is something more-like she emjoys it. I'm sure it can't be that but I don't know how to stop it. Please halp

Babies and toddlers do masterbate if that's what you mean. It seems to go in phases and some kids go for it more than others. It's difficult to do much about it until they are verabl and can understand that they should do it privately and also not so vigorously that they hurt themselves.

I was afraid of that-it seems wrong somehow. Thank you anyway, I'll just have to hope the phase passes soon!
