my son (oldest of 4) is really difficult. his behaviour has become increasingly extreme. He gets very agressive and hates his sister. He is so over sensistive to evrything he cant tolerate any one singing in the house and all we ever hear from is is "shut up"...its quite bizarre..any comment any one makes is followed by a negative moody comment from him. He has become really stubborn and when I ask him to hurry up in the morning he just carrys on at hois own slow pace he doesnt care that others are waiting for him. Coming down hard on him just seems to be inflammatory he just seems to be sad and agitated all the time - should we get some counselling or is there anything else we could do

hi mulranno we have gone through school(sorry dont know what cbt is)i went in and asked to be referred as he is ill alot and gets very down so i did not want the school councillor i wanted the phoenix programme which runs in wimbledon they were brilliant last time as he had 8 month off school due to illness followed by bullying then depression.it wont do any harm they used to visit at school one week then the next at home and i joined in.the councilor talked to him about things that made him sad.i really liked the councilor as she supported me too!!!!
