This morning he was in the room as I was getting dressed and he wanted to touch them and then said 'talk to me boobies' I said it really wasn't very pleasant and not to do it. He kept saying I just love them mummy. I don't want to turn this into a big issue but I feel really uncomfortable with him saying that!!!!

DT2 is much like that. He seems to be calming down now as he reaches 5 but he still likes to stroke them or burrow his head in if the opportunity presents itself.

I just smile at him, take his hands away and send him off to do something else.

I have "lubbly brets mummy, lubbly brets!"

DS(3yrs) is just like this. ("mommy, I love your guppas!")
god help me when DC2 arrives and they're OUT all the time!

TheArmadillo · 21/01/2009 13:40

ds (4yo) still sticks his hand down my top if he gets upset. Also does it to SIL - but she often looks after small kids and says a surprising amount of them do it.

Distraction I think it the only way forth.

DrNortherner · 21/01/2009 13:40

Oh God my ds is 6 and still cops a feel when he can saying he loves mummy's booobies.

It's a worry.....

Buda · 21/01/2009 13:41

LOL! DS went through that a little when he wanted to touch mine a lot. Has moved on to hands down his trousers most of the time now!

LOL at Marsy's 'lubbly brets'!

Jazzicatz · 21/01/2009 13:42

It was more the 'Carry on' way in which he says it thats more of a worry - seems ever so slightly cringey!!!!

yep ds2 aged 4 is very keen on my boobies (they are lovely and wobbly mummy ..and your tummy is nice and fat. gee thanks.) plus he is quite keen on bras generally if he finds one. very normal.

electra · 21/01/2009 13:46

I would just ignore it and not worry - I think it's a normal stage for boys that age from what I have observed and I'm sure he will not still be doing it at 16! I remember my cousin's son at 4 was very preoccupied with women's bodies but a few years later he was much more reserved about it. If you make any reference to it, it will seem like more and more of an issue to him imho.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/01/2009 13:53

LOL Buda - that's DS's other favourite 'toy'!!

chocolatedot · 21/01/2009 13:53

My 4 year old is the same (always asking if he can do "Boxing Boobies") and trying to bury his head in them at any opportunity. Glad I'm not alone

TheCrackFox · 21/01/2009 13:54

DS2 (nearly 4) is obsessed with my boobs. He has never really got over me stopping BF 3 years ago.

pagwatch · 21/01/2009 13:56

My DD is the same. If that is any comfort.
She is six now.

As DH says ( wearily) that girl is all about the boobs....

Jazzicatz · 21/01/2009 19:36

Glad i'm not the only one but I still find it a little yuk!!
