dd is 20 months and I completely adore her but she is extremely clingy. I would say that about 70% of the day, she cries and cries if I am not carrying her around the house and follows me yelling 'mummy mummy' (she's getting a bit heavy for that now!) and this has been the case since she was tiny.

She can sometimes be placated with chocolate or treats temporarily but I am a bit worried about replacing comfort/ cuddles with food (seems to be all wrong!)

She's not like this when I am not around so I don't think there is anything physically wrong with her. If I'm at work or out for the afternoon, for example, she just gets on with things and is a happy little girl.

I am finding it really hard to deal with this, esp as she has a big brother who needs me too (who was never like this). Any ideas?
