'The Incredible Years' - anyone done this course?

Have signed up to start a 10 week parenting course, was wondering if anyone else had done it and what they thought of it.

Not done it myself, but have friends who have and say its hard work but worth doing, has helped a lot with their relationship with their kids.

I've done it, would really recommend it. Didn't agree with everything (e.g. I'm not a fan of Time Out), but mostly excellent advice and has really helped in my family in all sorts of ways.

Thank you both. I have just returned, it seemed fine. Tutor was very pleasant, we didn't get through the whole of the first weeks syllabus though, so maybe she was breaking us in gently!

I have never and never plan to do Time Out but I will see. I really want to go for the positive parenting aspect to improve communication with my 9 yr old DD and help my DS (4 with SN) and I have better quality time, rather than battles!
