At what age did you let your dd wear a bra/crop top?

My dd aged 9 is starting to develop and although she doesn't need a bra, she needs something iykwim.

DD is 8.5 and last weekend I let her buy a little crop top and pants set with her pocket money. She really loves it
She's in year 4 and alot of her friends do wear bra's I really don't want her to grow up.

Don't leave it too long. My first bra was a 30D. I have no idea how my mother could possibly have thought i wasn't ready.

Upto your daughter really, dd is 11 and has been developing for over a year,but she wouldn't wear any crop tops until recently and then only to school when she has PE. I wouldn't have let an 8 year old wear a crop top if they don't need it.
