Is there anything i should do!!, should i be worried? It was a bit of a sweet wrapper that she found on the floor, and it was gone before i could get to it!! she gagged a bit then seems OK i looked in her mouth, but nothing to see, so gave her a drink, will it harm her??

Could you ring NHS direct for advice?

IdrisTheDragon · 15/01/2009 16:15

I think she'll be fine - it will come out the other end.

BlueSapphire77 · 15/01/2009 16:18

Just give her a drink.

It'll make it's appearance the other end if it was only small and she's not choking she should be ok on all counts

Kids eh who'd av em.

Thanks i know she will prob eat worse,it was about the size of one of her finger nails, so hopefully will pass OK. it wasnt at home, so didnt want to make a big fuss!! typical, she wont eat veggies, but silver foil is good apparently. maybe its my denial of chocolate, shes taken to sucking the wrapper of anything she can find!!

My DS managed to get hold of a choccy over the Christmas period and managed to eat a bit of foil before it was noticed and grabbed off of him. My mum changed his nappy the next day and wondered what it was, and laughed when she realised. He seemed to be fine but call the NHS direct if you're worried about your LO. x
