4 mo just got shouty and nap resistant - I know it is probably a phase but when does it end?

DD is 20 weeks and over the last few weeks has become more and more shouty and less able to take naps.

She gets very upset during feeds, comes off the breast and screams until red in the face. Sometimes a big burp helps and I am sure it isn't breathing problems as she can feed just fine when she, eventually, settles to it.

This has now crept into her nights as well, where previously she could settle herslef back to sleep after her night feeds.

Things that haven't helped either of us have been me having a cold and sinusitis and her having her jabs.

If this is just a phase - when does it end/get better. If it isn't any tips for helping us through?

BTW - having spent last hour and 15 mins trying to get her to nap have given up and DD is in bouncy chair blowing bubbles. Gah and Bless

Bumping for you.

Newborns sleep loads. They get more lively and aware as they get older. My 4 MO is very similar

Thanks puzzlerocks.

lilithxx - if only she was sleeping loads! It is the naps that have gone to pot. I had more or less got her onto three naps a day in her cot, but am now thinking I will have to go back to using the buggy for the afternoons as then at least she sleeps better.

Just when you think you are getting the hang of it they go and change the rules. Sigh.
