How much time do you spend playing with your 7mo??

Just wondering really. Dd has time by herself with her toys - I am in the same room but usually sorting things out, paying bills etc. I spend a lot of time playing with her and her toys but worry that she has too much time to herself.

as long as you do spend time playing with her I am sure that you and she are doing just fine,

My DS was crawling (and therefore into everything) at 7 months, so I envy all those who have the luxury of getting anything done during the time that their DC are awake.

My DT's are not crawling yet and spend a lot of their awake time playing on the floor or in their bouncy chairs. I feel I spend a lot of time playing with them, but there are times where I just leave them to it. Like you, I am in the same room, but may be sorting washing, pottering about, or just sitting with a book or a film on.I personally think it is quite good for them to be able to play and amuse themselves. Think I am lucky that the twins amuse each other too!

Often you can narrate what you are doing to them so they feel sort of involved. Better than having your back turned and ignoring them, although I sometimes find myself guilty of this.
