Does anyone know how long it takes for a new tooth to come through? My baby boy has had teething symptoms for a couple of months - wanting to chew on everything, dribbling a lot and general irritability, however, this morning I noticed that his gum has a slit in it so I presume the tooth is just about to break through (I hoping anyway!!). Please tell me it's only a couple of days at this point!
