Because she is 3 weeks old on Wednesday and everynight (bar 1) she has been put to bed at 11 and slept till 4am, had a bottle then slept till 9am!

Im getting more sleep now then when I was pregnant! Shes such a fantastic baby

Well done Rorie

I think it's the more intelligent ones that sleep less, don't you? [wink}

cikecaka · 12/01/2009 22:19

I can certainly agree with you there Grimble

cali · 12/01/2009 22:22

definitely Grimble

Going now to convince my 23 month old that she really wants to sleep. Will probably take some convincing but willing to take the challenge!

TooMuchMakkaPakka · 13/01/2009 01:23

my baby was a month early. She spent most of her time sleeping, until her due date. Then, boy did she wake up (she's in the sling in semi awake state grunting as i type)

meandjoe · 13/01/2009 08:29

awww lovely for you! i hope it lasts my ds was like that and fully slept through 12 hours a night from 10 weeks. it did last so don't panic (although did have a hiccup around 9 months but soon settled again). 17 months and still sleeps really well (i agree on the intellegent remark though, my ds is as thick as a brick )

naturalblonde · 13/01/2009 09:18

Well my 2.3 dd was up 7 times last night so kind of spoils the 'peacefully sleeping newborn'. Am expecting iit to stop anytime though

psychomum5 · 13/01/2009 09:28

coming in to say that my DD1 was like this......and as she was my first I was very smug about being so prefect as a new parent.

she used to cluster feed from 6pm - midnight, then sleep thru until 6am, wake for a feed then go thru to 9am. she was utterly wonderful

of course, never lasted.......she hit two and became a little sod at going to bed, running rings around us (her baby sister came along when she was 22mths), and now, at 14, is hormonal and fiesty and hell at getting to sleep......seems she is now a nightowl .

enjoy her while she is tiny

Disenchanted3 · 24/01/2009 10:40

shes still doing it, lol

infact the last 2 nights shes skipped her 4am bottle and just slept right through

AvonBarksdale · 24/01/2009 11:53

Make the most of it. It.Will.Not.Last.

Slushymummy - your right.

My 4 month old is also very good, but I deserve it after the terror that is her older brother and his terrible sleeping routine!

keevamum · 26/01/2009 11:47

Can i just say my DD1 slept through the night from 2 weeks old. She slept from 10 until 5.30-6. Everyone was very jealous!!! DD2 didn't sleep through until 22 months, so don't boast too loudly it may come back to bite you on the bum like mine did.
