Nodding head 'yes' and shaking head 'no'

Can't remember when Ds1 (7) did this, but he did/does. Ds2 (3.5) does not (part of communication issues he has, we think), so now not sure when DS3 (21months) Should be doing it.
Actually, he has been shaking his head 'no' for months and says 'yes' but very rarely nods.

Should I be worried? Not sure that I am really, just wanted to know if anyone can remember by what age they should be doing it.

Speech is quite advanced so no worries there.

Thanks

DD is 29 months and shakes her head for 'no' and has done for a while but she hasn't quite got the hang of 'nod' yet - we do a song where we nod our heads but she just puts her chin to her chest and keeps it there. As you say, I've no idea by when she should be able to do it!

Thanks mejon.

Maybe they should be doing it much later than I thought.

Once he starts he probably won't stop though...just like when he shakes his head 'no' to almost everything
