my dd eats like crazy, three waffles in the morning, then 2-3 hours later 2 cups rice w/ gravy, snacks, this is all before noon...

she isn't over weight.....average weight and size...do your children pig out too?

All my children can eat all day too, they are 21 months, 7 and 10, but they do live a very active lifestyle,
(do check for threadworms though, these can cause children to suddenly eat more,)
I find it embarrasing, everyone comments on how well they eat, dd ate 2 platefuls of macaroni cheese and a pudding at a friends the other day.
Saying that I would rather they were good than fussy eaters.

If she's not overweight and the food is healthy, I wouldn't worry.

Agree with bensmum, my older lot - 13,11,9 eat so much I can hardly keep up but I'd much rather that than picky eaters like my SIL's. So long as you encourage a healthy diet I wouldn't worry too much. I keep chopped carrots in the fridge and keep the fruit bowl topped up with apples, grapes, bananas which they are allowed to pick at as and when they like.
