2 year check up

Does anyone know if the 2 year old check ups are carried out?

My DS turned 2 on 12/12 and I haven't received an appointment for him?

i think it varies from area to area

they don't do them where I am either. Mine was a phone call asking if I had any issues with ds's development but he wasn't seen by anyone. He hasn't been for anything except jabs since his 6 week check.

As Ruby and Seona have said, it varies as to whether they do it. Areas also vary as to what is included - I've got friends in other areas whose children were given quite in-depth checks at various points; DD never had anything like as detailed. It also seems this area doesn't do the pre-school check that's included in the red book!

If you actually want it done, you should probably call your surgery/HV/similar.
