DD constantly asking for food

DD is 16 mo and a star lately she gets up about 6:30 and has a cup of milk about 8 oz.
then about 30 minutes later says hungry and we give her breakfast readybrek/ weetabix/ cheerios and then fruit half banana or pear or blueberries

for the rest of the morning she is in and out of the kitchen saying hungry/ nana/raisins/ breadstick

I give her the food not always what she asks for eg raisins instead of banana then she eats well at lunch has nap plays then dinner then after dinner again always asking for milky which we hold off until bedtime

thank you for bearing with the ramble my concerns are are we not feeding her enough or is she just asking because she can? She usually eats what she is given when she asks for it does not play with it etc and I have been offering water instead at times in case she is thirsty and confusing it.

Advice/comment apperciated as always.

growth spurt? BElieve me they go through stages when they seem to eat constantly all their waking hours!

She's probably just going through a growth spurt.

toddlers burn up huge amounts of energy and grazing is fine IMO

if she is within the normal weight parameters i wouldn't worry

after her younger months spent being weighed constantly due to my paranoia I have not had her weighed for 4 months she seems to be growing through her clothes ok so i think i'll just continue to go with the flow
