Refusing to eat solids

My DD is 6 and a half months, started weaning approximately one month ago and was happily eating 3 meals a day till last week. This week she is refusing solids, at most eats one or two spoonfuls and won't take any more. She is drinking milk but not full feeds. It could be teething, she has only two bottom teeth so far, she is waking quite a bit in the night also. Just worried that something else is putting her off her food or that she is somehow regressing from solids. Anyone had similar experiences?

It could be teething or maybe a stomach upset.
I think my ds did this but he wasn't on 3 meals a day. To be honest I think that 3 meals a day may be a bit much for her, the aim is to go for 3 meals a day by the time they are one.
I would cut back on the solids and gradually reintroduce them - probably the novelty factor has worn off
Just stick to a few favourite foods. Remember food is for one until they are one!

ds1 did similar, no particular pattern and no real reason. DS2 does it every time he's ill (loads!) and when he's teething. Don't worry so long as she's getting plenty of milk she doesn't 'need' the food nutritionally til she's about 1. keep on offering it but just smile and remove it if she's not interested, perhaps start to offer some finger foods - well steamed brocolli or cauliflower, or v crumbly biscuits are good starters

i agree with bouncing tinsel, reintroduce food slowly as 3 meals a day is a lot.

Doh, I mean food is for fun until they are one

I kept offering food to my DD when ill at this stage - she went right off solids, and still is bad at 2 years! If I had my time again I would completely cut out solids for a week and reintroduce one meal at a time, start the weaning process all over again. If FF it is a bit more important to have solids than BFing but your DD is very very young so I wouldn't worry.

Thanks for all the advice. I kept offering the food, after two weeks she is eating some solids again, still no sign of third tooth though. Hopefully it will appear soon! Have not started finger foods yet but thinking of trying them soon. She is still taking 5 bottles a day.
