DS2 (3.3, receptive language delay) is settled in nursery but not doing any parallel play. He does lovely parallel play at home/on playdates (though also likes flushing toilets in other people's houses! )
Nursery manager would like to find a good programme for him and seek funding. She's worried he'll retreat to a corner without some extra resources as it's a busy nursery.
Is anyone's child on a programme of this kind or are there any nursery teachers out there operating a programme of this nature?
We have a paediatric appointment on Monday and I think nursery manager wants me to "go in to bat" for her and come out with a doctor's note saying "this child needs this help".
