Let him go dressed as Sportacus?

He could Save The Day

sorry, no help i know, just pmsl!

pooka · 16/12/2008 08:06

Is he playing a character who could have a moustache?

Sorry - this is quite funny.

I have no idea how to get the pen off I'm afraid. Alcohol?

JollyPirate · 16/12/2008 08:06

Have you got any Milton in the house - that's sometimes good - or baby lotion?

Little monkey - sorry I just have to laugh.

ggirlsbells · 16/12/2008 08:07

lololol

that is so funny

hohoholepew · 16/12/2008 08:10

Tell the school you were helping with his costume.

Of course this will only work if he is Joseph/shepherd/wise man.

If he's Mary this suggestion won't help.

liath · 16/12/2008 08:10

Oh dear.

Rubbing alcohol should do it.

AdventCandleQueen · 16/12/2008 08:15

No advice, just PMSL!!

AdventCandleQueen · 16/12/2008 08:16

Actually DH recommends furniture polish for getting anything off of anything, but I don't think it would work on a child's face!!

fondant4000 · 16/12/2008 08:17

Surely it's only a problem if he's playing Mary? - or perhaps a sheep

liath - if you don't have rubbing alcohol, do you think any spirit (eg vodka) would work?

On the other hand, maybe even worse to go in with a moustache and smelling of booze...

Sorry mtm - I know it's probably the last thing you need....

liath · 16/12/2008 08:19

I was going to suggest vodka but then didn't want to be responsible for the consequences of your ds going into school smeeling of booze !!

oneyummymummy · 16/12/2008 08:20

PMSL

Its a good point that fondant makes!!

Have you tried your own make-up remover or is the pen a permanent one?

Sorry this is so funny, Its cheered up my morning already....probably not what you want to hear when yours isnt going to plan!

No help but

missingthemountains · 16/12/2008 08:46

I do agree it's quite funny - fortunately he is the Innkeeper so a tash isn't too much of a disaster - except that it's in purple ink

have tried baby wipes already - off to try some alcohol (for me to drink if it doesn't get the pen off)

OP posts:
MissisBoot · 16/12/2008 08:49

If he's the innkeeper do you have a dressing up beard which he could wear which could maybe hide the purple tash?

seeker · 16/12/2008 08:50

Eye make up remover?

S1ur · 16/12/2008 08:51

Probably best just to draw on some glasses for good measure.

PMSL!

Doodle2U · 16/12/2008 09:00

So the innkeeper rocks up to school with a purple tash AND smelling of alcohol - man, the teachers are going to think you are one mad mother, paying that much attention to authentic detail

Debs75goldrings · 16/12/2008 09:06

You just made my day.

Hope it went well too late to posat a useful suggestion.(didn't have one anyway)

fondant4000 · 16/12/2008 09:10

They'll think he's a method actor

Good luck MTM
