I was posting in behaviour almost daily from ds being 2 to 2 1/2. Anyway yesterday went to a Christmas party being held for 8 babies and their siblings and I was dreading it as when he'd met the siblings previously he had whacked, shouted and we had to go home early.

Total angel yesterday. He played nicely; sat and chatted with me; loudly and without being reminded said please and thank you and came home nicely without a strop. He is now like this most days. So there is light at the end of the tunnel, although 6 months seemed like a very long phase

Hurrah! DD has a similar party on Friday and I just know after an hour I will have to pull her out so she can melt down in private rather than in front of 10 other little ones.

She's 2.2 and very into 'mine', 'no' and 'oh dear'

lol - pride comes before a fall and all that - I went to collect him from nursery yesterday to be told he'd whacked his friend on the head with a toy! Still he was an angel for a whole afternoon...

yay! I love hearing others 'success' stories. DD's 2.6 and has started changing bit by bit too, and it's so refreshing. But I'm sure there will be some setbacks sometimes too which is OK.

This is good to hear! DD is 2.3 and has gone from being a complete angel to being a real handful - which would be fine but DS is now 8mo and also needs his fair share of attention too. Can't wait for DD to return to her sunny little self - hopefully!

Thank you for posting - I started a thread yesterday about how to get through the terrible twos as DS1 (who is 2.5) is a nightmare at the moment....so glad that it DOES get better
