I have an adopted son aged 10. His behaviour at home has always been pretty much o.k. Low key incidents from time to time, but no physical aggressiveness, swearing etc. However he seems to be struggling to hold it together at school. Yr 6 SATS looming. Very unsympathetic teacher with no understanding how boys are. He is very active- sporty etc. Happiest when kicking a football. Finds concentrating in lessons difficult. Is pulled up frequently for talking, not concentrating etc. Seems to feel the need to play the class clown to win apporval from his friends. We are at a loss to know ehat to do, as school are becoming quite confrontational about him. HELP!!!!
