She was such a good sleeper from 4 months until this week - She would sleep from 6pm to 7am!

I know to expect hitches like this but I am so tired today. She woke at 2am and I didnt think was hungry as she hasnt had a night feed for so long. Dp came up and said 'thats a hungry cry I will put a bottle on' and then looked all smug after she drank it all! She then weed all over her sleeping bag - That was at 4.30am!

Please tell me this is just a phase. Her 2nd tooth is cutting at the mo but she isnt too bad. We started weaning at the weekend so I wonder if that has thrown her out.

Thanks and please tell me it will only last a few nights

I reckon the weaning has thrown her a bit. DD has been on solids for about 5.5wks now and the first week or so, her sleep at night was a bit different. She woke up every morning with huge amounts of poo in her nappy. It all settled down quite quickly.

If she never wakes at night and she is eating/drinking lots during the day, then it is quite possible she was using the milk for comfort and to get back to sleep. If she does it again, i would be tempted to just give her some cool boiled water in her bottle and see what she does.

Thanks pudding - I will try the water tonight as she is getting her usual amount of milk plus food in the day now. Fingers crossed
