Bottle feeding position

My 8 week old did not feed from the breast very well, even after having her tongue tie snipped at three weeks. 11 lbs at birth, she has only regained birth weight last week. Have seen paediatrician but they say she appears fine albeit very slow to gain weight. I started bottle feeding half formula & half expressed milk about four weeks ago but am now exclusively bottle feeding expressed milk. Problem is she does not like to feed proped up in your arms (crys and pushes/arches her back) and only manages to drink 18oz a day when she should drink about 25ozs for her weight. Yesterday we figured out she wants to feed lying down sideways with her head slightly back! Anyone else had a similar experience or knows what this could be due to?

My DS done that, we had to lay a pillow over our knee and lay him on it with his head over the end leaning onto our elbow IYKWIM.

My HV tol me every child has their own preferance and that it could be wind especially if arching back hopefully this helps.
