Is there a certain knack to teaching children their lines for xmas play ??

Ds (6) has two lines to say. He can't actually read them and so I am struggling to find a way to get him to learn them.

I have read them to him and asked him to copy me, but he forgets what the first line was as soon as he has finnished the 2nd one.

Any tips would be grateful.

ROFL

Ds would have such a strop if I did that.

Yes I thought that might be the only way.

I shall be holding my breath come performance day.

Ahh bless

I am used to having children who know their lines off by heart within hours of getting them, so with ds I will have to be inventive i think.
