Should I be concerned about DS speech?

DS is 2.3, he's vocab is coming along nicely now, he uses 3 or 4 word sentences and attempts to repeat words I use, but he's pronounciation (sp?) isn't great.
He cant say S so snake is nake and cars are carg. He's name is Josh but he calls himself 'o'. Is this normal speach develepment? Will it come in time or do I need to do something?

perfectly normal for his age no worries there at all he shouldnt be able to s sound properly until 3 and the amount of words his using is fab dont fret over a baby not being able to pronounce all sounds as yet his so young and doing great

believe me my ds is 3.6 only just using range of words pronounciations poor and have the advise sheet and SALT who would say your dc is perfectly normal

if this helps 0-3 sounds expected are

t,m,h,p,d,y,b,n,w

and this is up to 3 so still along way until you need to even worry if cant do some still

3-4
sh,f,g,k,s

4-5
l,ch,z,j

all cluster sounds later on such as br,fr,kr,
th,
v
r

if children at each these ages are unable to pronounce at these ages then they may need some help but at 2.3 and the amount of words your ds is putting together well in the right range and perfect

Thanks so much, thats really helpful. I never know what to worry about and what's ok.
If I'd known I wouldn't of called him Josh!!!

well my ds name starts with a b poor mite cannot say it lol

you definatly dont have anything to worry about as for putting words together its recommended 4-6 words for a 3-4 yr old so your ds is well ahead there
