saline drops give v short relief, standing in steamy bathroom didn't seem to do much, have given calpol have raised head of mattress of basket,,, pls help, I just want to eat something!

May not have been steamy enough. I remember sitting in kitchen next to boiling kettle on the aga. Dr was agahst as v dangerous - DO NOT SCALD BABY.

Ended up sleeping sitting up holding her.

Sure that is not what you want to hear - hope someone else comes up with better idea.

Don't know when you can start using babyolbas oil.

put the baby olbas oil on a muslin cloth and put it near to baby rather than the oil on them directly
