Could it be a growth spurt? He has recently been under the weather and hence lots of night waking over the past month, but now the only thing that sends him back to sleep is a bottle of milk.

I am trying to give him as much food in the daytime as possible, even giving him weetabix before bed (as well as his milk!)

It may simply be that the fact he's been under the weather, and has been waking a lot at night, has unsettled him and affected his sleeping pattern.

Have you tried giving him something else for his supper rather than Weetabix? I always found with dd that Weetabix sat heavy in her stomach and stopped her sleeping well.

Yes it is either weetabix or ready brek. Agree it takes a while for their sleep to get back to normal after illness. I will go with it for now I think but am just worried that it will become habit which I really do not want!!
